The Nature’s Gym volunteers have worked with Sustrans on the Lower Sydenham Cycle Path project on a number of occasions now.It is a project that we all like and are keen to be involved in. In the long term, Sustrans London, with the help of London Borough of Lewisham are looking for funding to make this a site that local people and commuters would like to use, but there is a lot to do.
Simone, a Sustrans Quietways Project Assistant said “…the event was important for many reasons. It served to strengthen our collaboration with LB Lewisham and it gave us additional inspirations. The enthusiasm for the future development of the site is high.”
