Great North Wood Festival
Great North Wood Festival Our friends over at the London Wildlife Trust write. Celebrate the second Great North Wood Festival of the Year! Join us for a hybrid festival featuring in-person and online events happening across the two weeks. Events will include walks, talks and poetry workshops.
Wild Rangers – Comic Workshop
Take part in a fun comic workshop with the Wild Rangers and Emily Haworth-Booth.
River clean with the Home Office
A huge thank you to the team from the Home Office who came out to help clear the river in Ladywell Fields. We collected over 20 bags of rubbish along with a pair crutches which we returned to Lewisham Hospital, a mobile phone and a lot of golf balls.

Land Management Course 7th & 10 September 2022 at Creekside Discovery Centre
A course focussing on land management of the creekside area. Throughout the morning you will visit local sites that are managed by the Conservationists and Volunteers at Creekside Education Trust. We will focus on urban land management of brownfield sites and share with you how we create some of the most unique and biodiverse small sites in London.

Great North Wood Festival Saturday 18 June
The Festival of the Great North Wood will be a celebration of the Wood’s vast history and wildlife with a chance to learn more about why it’s so special. Join a guided walk and find out about local birds, pond life, and butterflies. Witness a spectacular falconry display, a giant interactive bubble show, or get stuck into the games museum. There will be plenty of activities for all the family including face painting, crafts, and music.
