Sue Godfrey Nature Park is looking fabulous just now. This is a result of the changes in management promoting a diversity of plants and associated insects. Come and visit for a FREE Wildlife Pop-up event. At 4.00pm – 5.30pm there will be a family session with bug hunting and wildflower spotting. In the evening, at 6.00pm – 7.30pm, there will be short guided walks for adults. At the Wildlife Pop–up visitors will have the opportunity to see numerous wildflowers, find out about the birds and insects found onsite and hear about how the site is managed for wildlife. This year is the 35th anniversary of the opening of the Nature Park. It is also the 25th anniversary of the death of Sue Godfrey and the renaming of the Sue Godfrey Nature Park in her memory.
