A new Community Garden is being built at the very top of Brownhill Road.  It is called The Garden on the Hill and will be outside the Brownhill Road Baptist Church and Community Hall.  It is the only public frontage on Brownhill Road and has cars on the South Circular thundering by. Lewisham Gardens are working with the congregation and local community to redesign and plant up the huge stone beds which face on to Brownhill Road.

The first work day is on Saturday 28th November, where they will be removing everything from tired old shrubs. the soil and the old noticeboard.

Funded by the Catford South Assembly, Lewisham Gardens hopes lots of people will come and help!
