Coinciding with National Park City Week the Crofton Park Railway Garden and hosting a series of activities detailed here, helping to raise the rest of the funds for the landscaping works to turn this greenspace into a more usable community garden and pocket park, with a ‘sensory-learning’ theme running through it. This will be our last opening before the works hopefully begin September onwards.

Activities:
- Walk the Brockley Three Peaks Trail. Pick up a map from the garden and a discount voucher for food and drinks on the day at participating ‘pit-stops’ along the way. All are fantastic local venues (including: Chandos Pub; Le Querce Italian; Mama Dough; Fred’s Cafe; Cafe Crofton Park; Jones of Brockley Deli – if you fancy a picnic instead; and more). The 5 mile circular walk will take you up to One Tree Hill, Blythe Hill Fields and Hilly Fields and the valley of the River Ravensbourne through Ladywell Fields.
- Sensory Flavour Tour workshop with Flavour Sense.com. This is an amazing workshop exploring how our senses inform and influence our perception of food and flavour. Please book via eventbrite, as we need to get an idea of numbers attending this one.
- A couple of kids workshops too – Art In Nature and Storytelling
