Not quite Lewisham, but still Lewisham borders! We are sure that it will be a fantastic and very interesting event.
Daniel Greenwood from London Wildlife Trust says;
“The walk will be led by the Wood’s official bird surveyor Dave Clark, who has a wealth of knowledge about birds in the Wood and surrounding sites such as Dulwich, Belair and Crystal Palace Park. This is a free walk, donations are welcome.
There is a good possibility of the following species: Great, blue, coal and long-tailed tit, robin, wren, nuthatch, blackbird, song thrush, tawny owl, chiffchaff, blackcap, sparrowhawk, and ring necked parakeet amongst others.
If there is consistently heavy rain the walk will be cancelled and rearranged for another date. Booking is not necessary.”

Two dawn chorus walks on the same day, both starting in Sydenham. Perhaps I should reschedule the R&P walk? Views?
It doesn’t seem too sensible to have them both on the same day – it just depends on how much advertising you’ve done for it. The leaflets have gone to a lot of people and I am sure you’ll have a lot of interest.
Then again, the one with LWT will be advertised more in Southwark and yours in Lewisham so maybe there is room for two!
