Grove Park Nature Reserve goes audio

Thanks to a successful grant application from Awards for All the Friends of Grove Park nature reserve have established a new and innovative way to inform visitors about the interesting things they can see on the site.

Already successful in Central Park in New York this innovation gives you an audio guide around the reserve using your mobile phone.  There are 5 points of interest for you to visit and at the end of the tour, your will get the chance to buy some honey from the bees that are on site (not yet available).

All you need to do is call 020 8588 1283, press whichever number of the point your are at followed by the #.  You will also be guided through the instructions once you have called the number. All calls are charged at your local rate and each one should last no more than 19 seconds.  In the future they are hoping to develop a Quick Response (QR ) code to make using the guide easier.

Look out for the yellow signs at various points around the reserve!

The Friends of Grove Park are very grateful to Stephen Kenny for all the help and hard work he put in to making this audio guide possible.
