Understanding where butterflies are found in London and how abundant they are helps us better understand the issues they face and what solutions we can provide.

In the UK many species of butterfly are in decline, but in London things are looking more hopeful with numbers of some butterfly species actually increasing.

There are 5 species of butterfly we at London Wildlife Trust want to monitor more closely and that’s where we need your help!
