Get involved in the British Waterways wildlife survey

Waterscape, the British Waterways leisure website is asking people to record their sightings.  Between now and September, they would like you to tell them about the wildlife you’ve seen on your local canal, river, dock or reservoir.   Each sighting recorded helps British Waterways’ ecologists to monitor, protect and preserve the amazing biodiversity found on our waterways.  More information on how to make part can be found on their website.

You can even record you sightings via your mobile phone because the wildlife survey form is now mobile phone-friendly allowing you to record what you see as you see it. Simply visit www.waterscape.com/ws and fill out the form just as you would do from your home computer.
