Nature’s Gym volunteers create new footpath

A merry bunch of nature’s Gym voluteers braved the chilly weather on Saturday 5th March to improve one of the footpaths in Ladywell and Brockley Cemeteries.  They started by cutting back some of the bramble to widen the path a little.  They then created a hurdle fenace at the start of the path and laid woodchip, this was so that the path had greater definition.

Everyone worked very hard to get the job finished and as you can see were very proud of their handywork!  Hopefully the footpath through the ‘wild area’ will be used well by all those that visit the cemetery.  I am sure we will be back because there is plenty more work to be done!
